| Scenery of Gamouno that Nukata King loved. |
Mt. Yukino has full of green scenery and much historical culture. In the
times when there was the capital in Otsu Kyoto, it's famous for a love
poem of Nukata King and Prince Ooama. You can feel the quiet touch with
"oldness".
More than 200 old burial mound are built from the fifth century to the
seventh century. A valuable plastic image and bronze bell-shaped vessel
are excavated by today. This mountain is enjoyed as the historical hiking
course. You can also dropped in at a village of IMOSE and Ryuo temple. | |

In Kagamiyama, a lot of ruins of a kiln of the earthen vessel which is
written down in "the Chronicle of Japan" are excavated.
A ceramist comes at least from the Korean Peninsura in the sixth century,
and this shows that it was firmly established in Kagamiyama. Forest / Otani
Pond Kagamiyama mountaintop route of the history is a hiking course to
climb to top by way of Otani Pond. You can command a whole view of Gamouno
